Terms of Service

1. The Service

Aurus provides API gateway infrastructure, API management, rate limiting, access control, monitoring, workspace collaboration, and related developer tooling (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is offered on a subscription basis across Free, Builder, Growth, and Enterprise plans, as described on our pricing page.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where possible, we will provide at least 14 days’ advance notice of significant changes that affect existing customers.

2. Your Account

To access the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at hello@aurus.io if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share account access with individuals outside your authorized team, or use the Service on behalf of a third party without appropriate authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Aurus only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to transmit, store, or process data that violates applicable law or third-party rights

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any part of the Aurus platform

• Build a competing API management or API gateway product using knowledge gained from the Service

• Circumvent rate limits, billing mechanisms, or access controls

• Introduce malicious code, perform denial-of-service attacks, or attempt unauthorized access to Aurus systems or other customers’ environments

• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without explicit written permission from Lunixify Studio

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately upon determining a violation of these terms.

4. API requests and Quotas

Each plan includes a monthly API request quota. Requests exceeding your plan quota may result in throttling, temporary suspension, or overage charges depending on your plan tier. You can monitor usage in your Aurus dashboard at any time.

Enterprise customers operate under custom quotas and SLAs defined in their individual agreement.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data transmitted through or stored within Aurus. You grant Lunixify Studio a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your API traffic data to train machine learning models or for any purpose beyond operating the Service. All data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Uptime and Service Levels

Aurus targets 99.9% uptime for Builder and Growth plans. Enterprise customers receive a dedicated SLA defined in their agreement. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance via our status page.

Downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control — including third-party infrastructure failures, BGP routing issues, DNS outages, or customer misconfiguration — is excluded from SLA calculations.

7. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated in these Terms.

If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a grace period before suspending your account. Annual Enterprise customers are subject to payment terms defined in their individual agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

Aurus, the Aurus logo, and all platform software, documentation, APIs, and design elements are the intellectual property of Lunixify Studio. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our brand, trademarks, or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Upon termination, you may export your API gateway configurations and data for up to 30 days.

We may terminate your account immediately for material breaches of these Terms, sustained non-payment, or if required by applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lunixify Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the three calendar months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lunixify Studio is incorporated. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms for legal, operational, or product reasons. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
